Turbocort Oromucosal Paste is a corticosteroid formulation designed to temporarily alleviate discomfort caused by oral inflammatory lesions and ulcers due to trauma. Its mechanism involves diminishing inflammation and modulating the immune response in the targeted region, leading to reduced swelling, pain, and redness. Prior to applying Turbocort Oromucosal Paste, it is essential to clean and dry the affected area within the mouth. A small quantity of the paste should be gently pressed onto the lesion without rubbing. For optimal results, it is recommended to use the paste either at night or after meals, as this allows better adherence of the medication to the lesion. After application, refrain from eating or drinking for approximately 30 minutes to maintain the paste’s position. While utilizing this medication, one may experience mild irritation, a stinging sensation, or a burning feeling at the site of application. Such reactions are typically transient and should resolve as the body becomes accustomed to the treatment. Should these sensations persist or intensify, or if any signs of an allergic response, such as significant itching or swelling, arise, it is advisable to stop using the product and seek medical advice. To reduce the likelihood of side effects, adhere strictly to the recommended dosage and avoid excessive application.
