Takfa Ointment is indicated for the management of eczema, specifically atopic dermatitis. This in turn alleviates associated symptoms such as itching and enhances the appearance of rashes that occur with atopic dermatitis. The ointment is intended strictly for topical application; it should be applied to the affected areas of skin 2 to 4 times per day, or as directed by a healthcare professional. It is important to ensure the ointment is applied gently and uniformly across the skin until it is fully absorbed. Overuse of the ointment should be avoided, and it is not advisable to cover the treated skin with a bandage or plaster. Patients are encouraged to consult their healthcare provider if there is no noticeable improvement in their condition after two weeks of usage or if there is a deterioration of the skin’s condition.
