Gudcef-CV Dry Syrup is an effective antibiotic formulation containing two active components. The mechanism of action involves inhibiting bacterial growth, which helps prevent the progression of the infection. It is advised to administer this medication to your child either one hour prior to meals or two hours after eating. If your child experiences gastrointestinal discomfort, it may be more suitable to give it with food. Ensure adherence to the prescribed dosage, which is determined based on the specific infection, its intensity, the child’s age, and weight. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medication, you may administer the same dose again; however, do not double the dose if it is nearing the scheduled time for the next dose. Some common and transient side effects may include vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, skin rash, and headaches. Typically, these effects resolve as the child’s system becomes accustomed to the medication.
