Ketoclean Ointment is classified as an antifungal medication and is intended for the treatment of skin fungal infections. It acts by eliminating the fungi responsible for conditions such as athlete’s foot, thrush, and ringworm. For optimal results, it is essential to adhere strictly to the dosage and duration recommended by your healthcare provider. Regular application will enhance the efficacy of the medication. Using more than the prescribed amount will not expedite recovery but may lead to an increase in adverse effects. Typically, skin infections improve within 2 to 4 weeks. If there is no noticeable improvement after this period, consult your healthcare provider. To aid the ointment’s effectiveness, maintain proper hygiene of the affected regions by ensuring they are clean and dry, and wash your hands before and after application. If treating athlete’s foot, it is advisable to wash affected clothing thoroughly and change footwear daily when possible. While the ointment is generally well tolerated, some users may experience minor side effects such as a burning sensation, irritation, dryness, peeling, or blistering of the skin. In rare instances, there may be hair thinning. If a significant allergic reaction occurs, indicated by signs such as a rash, swelling of the face, lips, or throat, difficulty in swallowing or breathing, dizziness, faintness, or nausea, seek immediate medical assistance. Avoid getting the product in your eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and seek prompt medical help.
