Discontinuing use may lead to a deterioration in asthma control. Forglyn Respicap is not intended for immediate relief during an asthma attack; a fast-acting inhaler should be used in such situations. Common side effects may include indigestion, nasopharyngitis (throat and nasal passage inflammation), chest discomfort, fever, sore throat, cough, headaches, sinusitis, nasal inflammation, and urinary tract infections. Should you experience any of these side effects, please continue with the medication but discuss these issues with your healthcare provider. To help alleviate some of these side effects, consider rinsing your mouth and throat with water or brushing your teeth after inhalation. It is also advisable to avoid known asthma triggers and refrain from smoking.
